The perfect place to materialize ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n STAYER IB\u00c9RICA sponsors FabLab.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n FabLab ETSIDI is a project developed in the UPM’s Higher Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI), commanded by a non-profit association managed by members of the university community.<\/p>\n FabLab offers students and the general public a digital manufacturing space where they can materialize their ideas, creations and inventions.<\/p>\n With just over a year of activity, the FabLab of the Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) has already carried out more than 250 different projects. “Students from all over the University use FabLab in their class projects, in their End of Degree projects and in their creations,” says Cristina Al\u00eda, a professor at the UPM and director of the laboratory. Training courses (3D printer courses, CNC milling and laser cutting) and FabKids workshops are also offered to bring technology and the world of digital manufacturing to the youngest.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
